Endometrial Cancer & Menopause Help

So I was diagnosed in April 2021 with cancer of the uterine lining, also known as endometrial cancer.   I read that the average age for a diagnosis is 62, so my diagnosis at age 43 came pretty early.  Most are slow growing, but mine was already at stage 3 when it was discovered.

If you have bleeding and abdominal/menstrual pain every day, that's not normal!  You would think that most doctors would want to rule out cancer first thing, but they don't - so you have to be your own advocate!

Don't just rely on pap smears  or  ultrasounds- they can't tell you if you have endometrial cancer.  Ask for a biopsy to make sure.

After I had surgery and radiation, I was not doing well physically due to anemia and low levels of pretty much everything in my blood (iron, hemoglobin, red blood cells, etc.) . Neither was I doing well emotionally and mentally because of being in sudden menopause - I had severe depression and anxiety.   I was not a candidate for hormone replacement therapy. due to the kind of cancer I had.  I also tried some antidepressants but was unable to take them because of the side effects, which happens with about 90% of prescriptions and 30% of herbs and over the counter medications I've tried.  I had to figure out how to start feeling better all by myself - it was HARD.

Two things really helped me with my blood levels:

1.   IRON really helped.  NOT the iron they prescribe you - ferrous sulfate - that kind can cause constipation.  Iron bisglycinate - aka ferrochel - is an inexensive, gentle iron that won't cause constipation.  You can get it for like $5 bucks off amazon or your local grocery store might have it.  Bluebonnet makes some.  You can take up to 200 mg per day of it, if you need that much.  take it on an empty stomach with some vitamin c for best absorption.

2.  I also took stem cell activators for blood (BLD Medix) and the immune system (IMN Medix) and also one bottle of the one for cancer after my treatments. (ONC Medix).  No, they don't contain stem cells, they just activate the one's you have.  They are completely plant-based and won't interfere with anything you else you might be taking.  You just put the drops in water, it's easy.   You might have seen the TV show with Dr. Joseph Christiano, he's the one who created this stuff.  This helped my blood levels return to normal - and some friends I knew with cancer were still struggling with low blood levels quite a while after treatments.  Having even slightly low hemoglobin will make you feel AWFUL!!!! Mine were much improved after 3 months of taking the stem cell activators for blood.  You can get them at kogardens.com

I'm also taking a concoction of herbal things for my depression/anxiety/ hot flashes that have helped immensely! These are not expensive things, I get them off amazon or ebay.
